As you may have read on our social media feeds, unfortunately, a member of our team has tested positive for Coronavirus after contact with a family member. We have therefore taken the sensible decision to temporarily close our Whittle-le-Woods shop and cafe for a few days. This will allow us to monitor the health of our staff and carry out a deep clean of the premises.
We are confident that our robust COVID risk assessments have been followed, and that no customers have been put at risk. However, we continue to follow government guidelines and will co-operate with NHS Track & Trace in an effort to minimise the spread of the virus.
Our number one priority is the health and well being of our staff, customers, and the local community. We want to thank everyone for their support and understanding.
Our Haigh Woodland Park shop and cafe is currently unaffected by this closure and will continue to trade.
GOOD NEWS –
Barring anything unexpected happening in the meantime, the Whittle-le-Woods shop will re-open Monday, November 9th and will return to our regular 6 days a week.
